Ben kadın . . .

Today was church, grocery shopping, and hanging out at home with my husband. I've decided to keep my days pertinent to what's going on in my life, so today is just a simple starter: man and woman; husband and wife.

Adam = man                                        Kadın = woman
Koca = husband                                    Karı = wife

Hopefully another helpful tidbit - here is the nominative pronoun chart for Turkish:

Ben = I                 Biz = we
Sen = you              Siz = you
O = he, she, it       Onlar = they

Welcome! Hoş geldiniz!

Welcome to 5 minute Turkish! I am a learner myself, and wanted to push myself to learn the language in a way that I can help others learn the language as well. This will by no means give you a full understanding of the language, but I hope to be able to help you along the way with a daily vocabulary word, tips I find, and brief explanations of syntax or conjugations. I have listed some helpful sites along the side, and will keep compiling as I find them. If you have something you would like me to look up, or anything you see that needs to be corrected, please leave a comment, or email me. Hope you enjoy learning along with me!
